For college students
Independence at school, without the 'text me when you're home' texts.
Alrightly replaces the constant check-in messages with one tap a day. You pick the schedule, you pick who's notified, and nobody gets to see where you are.
Your account, your rules
You choose who's a trusted contact — a roommate, a friend, a parent — and you can remove them whenever you want.
Definitely not location sharing
No GPS, no maps, no history. Your contacts only learn whether you answered your check-in.
Free while you're figuring it out
The free plan covers daily check-ins and one trusted contact, with no credit card.
Fits a student schedule
Set check-in times around classes and late shifts, and pick a grace period that won't alert anyone over a long nap.
How it works
- 1Create a free account and choose your check-in time.
- 2Invite a roommate, friend, or parent as your trusted contact.
- 3Tap your check-in link to confirm you're okay.
- 4If you miss one past your grace period, they're notified so they can reach out.
Common questions
Can my parents see my location or activity?
No. Alrightly never collects location data. Contacts only see whether a check-in was answered and when the last one was.
Can a roommate or friend be my contact instead of a parent?
Yes — anyone with an email address can be invited, and you can have more than one contact on Plus.
What about breaks and travel?
Pause check-ins or change your schedule any time from your settings.
